The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology was established in September 2007 and is one of the oldest Faculties of our University – by merging Zooengineering with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Today the faculty has about a thousand students and more than twenty postgraduate students. The Faculty consists of four departments, where the pedagogical, methodological and research activities of 13 Doctors of Sciences and 37 Candidates of Sciences are carried out. Highly qualified faculty, modern material base, and innovative teaching methods allow our students to acquire the necessary professional skills and find well-paid jobs. Graduates of the Faculty are always in demand in the labor market. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology is represented by 990 students.
